One role. One seat. Part-time.
Nightlife Report is an independent Los Angeles publication covering red carpets, fashion and nightlife. We want one person who can do two things: front our stories on camera at live events, and build the tools that turn the footage into finished posts.
What you’ll do
- Host red-carpet, fashion and nightlife segments in person in LA, with your name on every one
- Research talent, write questions and build segment outlines
- Build and improve our publishing tools (Python or JavaScript, APIs, video and caption pipelines)
- Edit and ship short-form video, then report results in plain numbers each week
Who you are
- Comfortable on camera, or eager to get there
- Some coding: Python or JavaScript, Git, a project you can show us
- Reliable at night and weekend events in Los Angeles
Pay: twenty-two to thirty dollars an hour, part-time, about ten to fifteen hours a week, set by experience. Paid from day one.
How to apply: reply with (1) a link to something you built, (2) a sixty-second on-camera video introducing yourself, and (3) your availability for November event nights. On Handshake, apply through the job post and attach the same.
