Kylie Jenner made her Victoria’s Secret runway debut in it. Per Vogue, the piece sets 4,410 natural diamonds around a 75.54-carat radiant-cut Fancy Vivid yellow diamond, and it took 15 craftspeople more than 1,000 hours to build.
Chief creative officer Adam Selman told Vogue: “A big idea for the show was fandomonium.” And on who it was really for: “It’s for the fans. It really is for the fans.”
Meet Solange Omon, Victoria’s Secret’s newest Angel
More than 100,000 people started the application process. One walked out with golden wings.
Solange Omon, a 21-year-old Cameroon-born model based in Lewiston, Maine, won Angels Among Us, the brand’s six-part YouTube competition, and was named the newest Angel on the night. Forbes reports the prize includes an exclusive IMG Models contract and that the series drew about 17.8 million YouTube views. The other finalists were Andreína Martínez Fournier and Tatyana Tinsley.
Omon told PEOPLE (as quoted by TheGrio) about the call that put her in the top 10: “I was speechless. I started screaming.” Victoria’s Secret says the series finale arrives November 22.

Victoria’s Secret said in a statement that her agency was told on September 6 that she wasn’t cast, while Strijd says she still attended a casting on September 10.
