Swimsuits are shot in the cold. Lingerie sells in the snow. Nobody hands models the calendar, so here it is, taken apart to first principles. Then today’s five runway headlines from around the world. Every claim is linked to its source.

1. Los Angeles: Ye takes Yeezy back to the runway

Yeezy Season 01 shows Wednesday, Nov 4 at 8 p.m. at the new Yeezy Flagship Droam 1, 4317 Beverly Blvd. It is Ye’s first full-scale runway in four years. His last, Season 9 in Paris in October 2022, ended with the Adidas split and a wider corporate fallout, and Hypebeast notes he has since publicly apologized for his antisemitic statements. Valentine’s Day 2027: not announced. Here is what we know. The 2026 campaign, A Very VS Valentine’s, launched Jan 7, 2026 with Hailey Bieber, Isabeli Fontana, Maty Fall Diba and Alexis Carrington, and Bieber restaged Gisele Bündchen’s 2001 catalog cover from inside a dresser drawer. First principles: the model’s calendar

Strip it down to three facts. Product sells in its season. The pictures have to exist months before that. So the shoot always lands in the opposite weather. A model’s calendar is the retail calendar minus the lead time. That’s the whole trick.

Lingerie peaks now. Holiday broke in late October, and last year’s Valentine’s broke in the first week of January. From the camera’s side, that’s one long red season.

Carol Coelho launched Acqua, its first swim line (Underlines). KINKY debuted KINKY Swim (KINKY). AVIDLOVE took lace and mesh poolside (WDPP). The SI credits read like a shopping list: PatBO, Bamba Swim, Frankie’s Bikinis, OYE Swimwear, SLATE SWIM, Anna Kosturova.

Who’s with who, on the record only

The WAG pipeline is the new agency. Claire Kittle, wife of 49ers tight end George Kittle, and Jena Sims, wife of Brooks Koepka, are both on the 2027 SI roster (SI Swimsuit). Hailey Bieber, married to Justin, fronted VS Valentine’s 2026 (Glamour). Controversial, maybe, but true: in 2027 your partner’s stats can be part of your comp card.
