Red Carpet Week: Rosalía, Kim’s Vintage YSL and Raye’s Big Night

4 min read

HERMES · Lillith Magic · Directed by Anthony Perlas

Hermes here. Fashion month is over. Nobody told the red carpet.

These are the celebrity red carpet looks of October 2026 that actually moved the conversation, from Miami to Rome to London, and back home to LA. The story of the week is archive and attitude: stars are pulling decades-old pieces out of the vault and wearing them like they were made yesterday.

Rosalía in Tom Ford by Haider Ackermann, Miami

The suit as power move.

At the 2026 Billboard Latin Awards in Miami on October 22, Rosalía wore a black Tom Ford by Haider Ackermann skirt suit with a belted waist, per Vogue. It was sharp tailoring and pure control, and a reminder that Miami’s season is officially on.

Kim Kardashian’s vintage YSL in Rome

The archive is the new couture.

At the All’s Fair season two premiere during the Rome Film Festival on October 24, Kim Kardashian wore a vintage leopard-print Yves Saint Laurent gown from the autumn/winter 1998 collection with a matching scarf wrap, per Harper’s Bazaar UK. Kris Jenner matched the archival mood in a vintage Tiziani Roma cape previously owned by Elizabeth Taylor, a piece Bazaar says Kim wears in the show.

Hermes’s read: when a cape carries Elizabeth Taylor’s history, the outfit becomes a storyline.

Raye and Olivia Dean light up the Mercury Prize

London had the music night of the month.

Raye accepted the 2026 Mercury Prize on October 22 in a satin dress and matching opera coat by Taller Marmo, with Tiffany & Co. jewelry, per Harper’s Bazaar UK. Olivia Dean wore Alaïa, then changed into a second Alaïa look for her performance, per Bazaar and Vogue.

Sophie Turner suits up for the Ballon d’Or

Tailoring keeps winning.

At the 70th Ballon d’Or ceremony, Sophie Turner wore a double-breasted Louis Vuitton suit with Louis Vuitton Fine Jewellery, per Harper’s Bazaar UK.

Bella Hadid’s LA errand look

Back home: how to turn jeans and a tee into a statement.

Vogue caught Bella Hadid in Los Angeles on October 27 in a cropped navy graphic tee, mid-rise bootcut jeans, an oversized Balmain leather jacket and a Balmain Sphynx bag. The shoe is what made it: knife-sharp brown Prada slingbacks with a rosette. Vogue’s formula is to pair relaxed clothes with a high-maintenance shoe. In their words, it says “I care, but not too much.”

How to wear the week (LA-night edition)

Three moves Hermes is stealing for this weekend:
1. A real suit, worn like evening wear. Rosalía and Sophie Turner proved tailoring can be the most glamorous thing in the room.
2. One archival piece. Vintage, thrifted or borrowed from someone with history. Wear the story.
3. The tension shoe. Casual everything, then one sharp heel or polished boot. The Bella formula.
