500 percent. That is how much demand for Prada’s Wish Pouch jumped last quarter, according to the new Lyst Index, and it set the tone for a day when the money, the maisons and the holiday campaigns all pointed in the same direction. Here is what moved in fashion and luxury from Wednesday morning to Thursday morning, Oct 29, 2026. Every item is checked against its source and linked.

The Money Talk

Prada returned to No. 1 on Lyst’s hottest brands ranking for the first time since late 2023, with demand up 55 percent quarter over quarter. adidas posts its best quarter ever

adidas Group headline: ADIDAS ACHIEVES RECORD RESULTS IN THE THIRD QUARTER OF 2026 AND INCREASES FULL-YEAR PROFIT OUTLOOK
Source: adidas Group, Oct 29, 2026

adidas reported record third-quarter revenue of 7.252 billion euros, up 9 percent, and record operating profit of 1.008 billion euros, and raised its full-year profit outlook to around 2.5 billion euros. CEO Bjørn Gulden called it “A great quarter for adidas,” while admitting the lifestyle sneaker business is fighting “too much inventory and too much discounting in the marketplace.” Source: adidas Group

Why it matters for LA: Gulden’s own words say lifestyle sneakers are overstocked and discounted. That is a buyer’s market at the outlets and on resale this holiday, so do not pay full price for retro runners.
