The short version

Ye’s Yeezy brand will stage a runway show called “Yeezy Season 01” in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Nov 4, at its first flagship store at 4317 Beverly Boulevard. It is his first full-scale runway presentation in four years, BoF and Hypebeast report.

What happened

  • The invitation. According to invitations sent to press on Monday evening, the show will take place at the new Yeezy Flagship Droam 1 location, BoF reports. Hypebeast reports the start time as 8 p.m. local time.
  • The store. The show celebrates the opening of the brand’s debut brick-and-mortar store, per BoF.
  • The name. BoF notes the title “Yeezy Season 01” seems to mark a new beginning for a brand whose original collection debuted in 2015.
  • The gap. Ye’s last major presentation, Yeezy Season 9, was an off-calendar show in Paris in October 2022. BoF recounts that the show and a string of antisemitic remarks that month led Adidas to end its partnership with him, with Balenciaga, Gap and CAA also cutting ties.
  • Since then. BoF reports that in January 2026 Ye published a full-page open letter in The Wall Street Journal disavowing antisemitism and apologizing to the Black and Jewish communities. Hypebeast notes he has publicly apologized. BoF adds that Yeezy footwear returned to physical retail through a distribution agreement with JD Sports that began in August, and Hypebeast reports an earlier soft relaunch of basics through the Yeezy webstore.

Why people care

Yeezy reshaped sneakers and streetwear in the 2010s, and the brand’s split from Adidas in 2022 was one of the biggest stories in fashion business that year. A runway return is the clearest signal yet of how Ye wants the label to be seen now. People will watch for the clothes, the guest list, and whether retailers and buyers show up.

There is also the music. BoF notes that Ye kept performing and releasing albums over the past four years, and that his most recent album, Bully, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 in March. That audience is likely to follow the fashion return closely, which is why the show matters beyond the industry.

What it means for you

  • If you are in LA. The show is in the Fairfax and Beverly Grove area on a Wednesday night. Expect press, fans and traffic around Beverly Boulevard. Plan around it if you are driving.
  • Invitations. The show was announced through press invitations. We have not seen a public ticket process, so treat anyone selling access with caution.
  • For buyers and resellers. A new flagship and a new season number usually mean new product. Check official Yeezy channels for release details instead of rumors.
  • For creators. Coverage will move fast on social media. Stick to what you see and what the brand confirms.

Our take

Opinion. LA has been waiting for a runway moment that pulls national attention back to the city’s fashion scene, and this will do that whatever people think of the designer. The responsible way to cover it is the way we will: report what is shown, report the context accurately and let readers decide. The bigger story for LA may be the store itself. A flagship on Beverly Boulevard is a long-term bet on the city.
