Two of the season’s biggest holiday campaigns are set at night. Chloé’s festive campaign stars Claudia Schiffer, photographed by David Sims in what the house calls “a cinematic after-dark atmosphere” (Chloé). Donna Karan New York has named its Holiday 2026 story “The City, After Dark,” with Irina Shayk photographed by Mert Alas (Donna Karan).

What is Chloé’s festive campaign about?

Creative director Chemena Kamali cast Schiffer, a Friend of the House, and said in Chloé’s release that she “wanted to explore a more nocturnal expression of the Chloé woman,” with a cinematic, spontaneous and slightly mysterious mood (Chloé). The house says its signatures take on rich textures and “luminous accents,” and the collection reaches Chloé boutiques and chloe.com from early November 2026.

Frames include a black tuxedo jacket, a white ruffled blouse and a voluminous peachy pink dress (Page Six).

Why does Claudia Schiffer keep coming back to Chloé?

The history is long. Schiffer first walked Chloé’s runway in 1991 under then-creative director Martine Sitbon and kept walking for the house through the ’90s when Karl Lagerfeld returned. Kamali also cast her in last year’s Chloé à la Plage summer campaign, and Schiffer attended the Spring 2027 show in Paris last month (Page Six).

What does Irina Shayk wear for Donna Karan?

Donna Karan New York’s release describes Shayk “in the warmth of golden hour—a woman in motion, moving effortlessly between day and night.” The looks: a belted leather trench, a strapless leather sheath, a V-neck cocktail dress with sculptural gold hardware and a full-length sequin gown layered under a long wool coat, carried with the black leather Bridgehampton Tote or a Cashmere Clutch (G-III Apparel Group).

The team: creative direction by Trey Laird, styling by Jessica Diehl, hair by Chris McMillan and makeup by Jamal Scott. The campaign launched October 28 across the brand’s social channels (WWD). Shayk told PEOPLE, “Donna Karan celebrates a woman’s strength, confidence and femininity. Mert has an incredible instinct for capturing that spirit” (PEOPLE).

The Nightlife Report take

When two houses this different both set their holiday campaigns at night, that’s the brief for December. The formula is the same in both: something structured (a tuxedo jacket, a long wool coat) over something that catches light (sequins, gold hardware). It’s the same coat-over-shine idea Miu Miu used, which we covered in Gigi Hadid’s Miu Miu Holiday 2026 campaign. For a party night in LA or New York, build the look around the coat, because that’s what people see at the door.
