Part of today’s What You Missed: Thursday, Nov 5.

The short version
After four years off the runway, Yeezy presented Season 01 on Wednesday night at DROAM 1, the new flagship at 4317 Beverly Boulevard. Models in mostly minimal, monochromatic looks walked in circles around a large white sculptural mound. Guests included Kid Cudi, 2 Chainz, Big Sean, A$AP Nast and Fear of God founder Jerry Lorenzo. The show streamed on Kick, and Complex reports that unreleased Ye tracks scored the presentation.
What happened
- The venue. According to Complex and WWD, the show took place at Droam 1, Yeezy’s new Los Angeles flagship on Beverly Boulevard. WWD had reported an 8 p.m. start for Wednesday, Nov. 4.
- The looks. Models wore largely minimal and monochromatic pieces and walked in circles around a big white hill rather than a traditional straight runway. Rapper Nettspend was among the walkers, Complex says.
- The guests. Complex lists 2 Chainz, Kid Cudi, Big Sean, Natalie Nunn, the Clermont Twins, A$AP Nast, Sab Zada and Jerry Lorenzo. North West and Bianca Censori also attended.
- The music. Complex says several unreleased Ye songs played, including lyrics that began “I went through your likes / Who the hell is Ike?” The stream ran on Kick via Neon.
- The business context. WWD notes Yeezy has been selling wardrobe essentials on its site and expanded distribution through JD Sports. Two footwear models, the Yeezy 800 sneaker and the AB-01 Alpha boot, are teed up for December, with pricing still unannounced.
- The gap. The last major Yeezy runway was Season 9 in Paris in 2022. Adidas and Gap ended partnerships that year. Ye published a full-page Wall Street Journal apology ad in January 2026.
Why people care
Runway returns matter because they signal whether a brand still has a fashion story, not just a sneaker restock. Season 01 is the first full Yeezy show in four years, staged inside the brand’s own new LA store. For streetwear and music-fashion audiences in Los Angeles, that is a hometown event with a guest list that mixes rap, fashion and Hollywood-adjacent names.
What it means for you
- Go see the store. DROAM 1 at 4317 Beverly Blvd is now a public retail address, not just a show set. If you are in Mid-Wilshire or WeHo, it is a short drive or rideshare from Melrose and Fairfax.
- Watch December footwear. WWD flags the Yeezy 800 “Stealth” and AB-01 boot for a holiday window via JD Sports. Exact dates and prices are not public yet, so set alerts rather than camping overnight on rumor.
- For photographers and creators. The circular walk around a white mound is a clean, repeatable set language. Expect more content from guests who shot the room on phones; credit and timestamp anything you send us.
- Keep the fashion separate from the noise. The show itself was about clothes, music and a new store. Coverage that invents drama beyond sourced facts is not useful for shoppers.
Our take
Opinion. Putting Season 01 inside a brand-owned LA flagship is a smart reset: it sells the store as much as the collection. The minimal palette and circular staging feel closer to early Yeezy purity than to spectacle. Whether the December sneakers land with the same heat as the old Adidas years is still an open question. For LA, the immediate win is a new fashion address on Beverly that actually opened with a show instead of a soft launch.
