Saturday night, October 31. The costumes are on, the lines are forming, and every city is claiming it owns Halloween. We already covered Vegas, Miami and New York in our first roundup. This one starts in Los Angeles, names the groups behind the doors, and ends with our call on the biggest nights. Everything below is from a venue, ticket or official page checked today; confirm before you go.
Los Angeles: the city that doesn’t need a velvet rope
West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval is free, 6 to 11 pm, a full mile of Santa Monica Boulevard from Doheny to La Cienega, and the city expects tens of thousands. No alcohol on the route, no backpacks, clear bags only, and the free WeHo Halloween Ride runs until 3 am (City of West Hollywood; Visit West Hollywood).
The Boulet Brothers’ 26th Annual Halloween Ball takes all three floors of the Globe Theatre downtown, 10 pm to 3 am. Poppy plays a headlining DJ set, House of Ninja does a Halloween vogue spectacular, Rasputin’s Marionettes bring human-sized puppets, and the costume contest pays one thousand dollars cash. VIP gets no-line entry and the mezzanine bar (Boulet Brothers tickets).
The Hollywood Roosevelt has the most-whispered bill in town: The Dare, Frost Children, Tinashe, Harmony Tividad and Johnny Jewel. Elsewhere: Arcade Fire (DJ set), The Blaze and Claude VonStroke in the Arts District, Desire and MotherMary at Lodge Room, and Heads Will Roll, a queer indie Halloween at El Cid (Grimy Goods).
Sound Nightclub sold a three-night Halloween pass presented by Framework: Rivo Thursday, Deep Dish Friday, Neil Frances (DJ set) Saturday; tables through reservations@soundnightclub.com (DICE). LEVEL 8 in DTLA runs 8 Deadly Sins, five rooms with fire dancers and acrobats and a three-hour open bar sponsored by Moët Hennessy; entry started at twenty-five dollars (Eventbrite). Orlove’s Daft Disko brings French house to the Moroccan Lounge from 9 pm (Eventbrite).

The groups behind the doors
- The h.wood Group (Delilah, Poppy, The Nice Guy, Bootsy Bellows) posted one line on October 28: “Spend Halloween Weekend with The h.wood Group.” No public lineup, which is the point. Same week, co-founders John Terzian and Brian Toll made Observer’s 2026 Nightlife and Dining Power List, and Lady Delilah New York opens November 3 (h.wood Instagram, via PicMany; hwoodgroup.com). History says watch Delilah: in 2022 Terzian co-hosted an invite-only, costume-mandatory night there with Zack Bia (Modern Luxury).
- Tao Group Hospitality runs both coasts. New York: Bob Sinclar on the Marquee Skydeck on Halloween night, Two Friends at Marquee, Alex Lake at TAO Downtown on Friday (Tao: Marquee Skydeck; Tao: Marquee; Tao: TAO Downtown). Vegas: Tiësto at OMNIA and Illenium at Marquee on Friday, on top of Saturday’s Garrix, Mustard and Aoki.
- Zouk Group at Resorts World: Megan Thee Stallion’s Hottieween on Friday, October 30. Guest list was free for ladies until 1 am, costumes allowed but no fully covered faces (Vegas With Diego).
- LIV (Fontainebleau Miami Beach): four nights. Dani Barranco Thursday, Sexyy Red Friday, Lost Frequencies on Halloween night, Yung Miami Sunday. LIV itself says Saturday is the peak (LIV Miami). In Vegas, LIV booked Layton Giordani on Friday.
How to actually get on a list
Text a promoter, not the club. Send full names, headcount and your group’s ratio, then arrive early, because holiday lists close sooner than usual. Bring a physical ID. Buy only from official ticket pages. Free parties need nothing but a costume and patience.
Our prediction: the biggest nights (this is our call, not a fact)
- Los Angeles, Saturday: WeHo Carnaval wins on crowd size, since it is free and the city plans for tens of thousands. The Boulet Ball wins on photos: three floors, a cash prize, 26 years of reputation.
- Las Vegas, Friday: Hottieween at Zouk is the night most likely to own social feeds, because a headline artist hosting her own party beats a DJ set for clips. Saturday at OMNIA should still be the bigger door count.
- New York, Saturday: the Village Parade sets the crowd, and Marquee Skydeck catches it after.
- Miami, Saturday into Sunday: LIV peaks Saturday by its own account, and Club Space’s Halloweek runs into Sunday afternoon.
