Los Angeles sells access, not square footage. Rooms are smaller than in Las Vegas, so a table buys you a seat in a room that is hard to enter.
Who runs the rooms
The h.wood Group, founded in 2008 by John Terzian and Brian Toll, runs Delilah, The Nice Guy, Keys, Poppy and more. Its Rolodex membership sells priority reservations and skip-the-line entry. Tao runs LAVO on the Sunset Strip.
What a table costs
Third-party guides put Poppy at roughly one thousand to fifteen hundred, varying by night. Smaller lounges can start near three hundred. Expect a mandatory service or entertainment fee on top.
Dress and door
Dressed up, no athletic wear. Reservations at Delilah are dinner-first; the room turns into a party after.
How LA compares
- Las Vegas: bigger rooms, higher prime prices, DJ residencies.
- Miami: later nights, bigger stages.
- New York: harder doors.
