Is there room for you? Here is what the text claims, and what it does not.
The verse
John 14:2: “In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?”
The old word
The King James Bible of 1611 says “many mansions.” The Greek word is monai, from menō, “to stay.” It means dwelling places, not palaces.
The setting
Jesus speaks these words at the Last Supper, the night before the crucifixion, to friends who are afraid of losing him. It is comfort first.
The crowd
Revelation 7:9 describes “a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language.” The text pictures abundance, not a waiting list.
The headcount
The Population Reference Bureau estimates about 117 billion people have ever been born. About 8.2 billion are alive today, per the United Nations.

The container
1 Kings 8:27 says even “the heaven of heavens cannot contain” God. The Bible itself refuses to make heaven a building you can measure.
The scale
The observable universe is about 93 billion light-years across. If the text is right that room is abundant, space is not the problem.
The question
So is there room for you? Taken at its word, the text says yes. Anthony’s warning is practical, not doctrinal.
The warning
A promise about the next life does not pay rent in this one. Waiting on a room is not a plan. Building one is.
Text vs. reader
What a text claims and what a reader assumes are different things. Most fear about “no room” comes from the reader, not the verse.
Rooms are prepared
The verse says a place is prepared. Preparation is work done ahead of arrival. That is the habit worth copying here.
Your room here
In this life your room is made of people, skills and a name others repeat. Nobody hands it to you. You build it, one relationship at a time.
Many rooms, many people
A house with many rooms is a household. The image is family, not solitude. Heaven in this text is a cluster.
Build the house now
Invite people in. Value them. Get paid fairly. Make your own house one with many rooms, and people will remember who built it.
Swipe-back summary
The text promises room. The reader often doubts it. Your job is to stop waiting and start building the room you live in now.
First principles
Read the text before you fear it. Abundance in the next life is not a plan for this one. Build your house now.
